At the Autohaus Schadenforum in Potsdam, MD Software & Design together with its partner BS [i]ntelligence GmbH presented itself for the first time to a broad audience from the automotive industry. There was lively interest in the company's software solutions, especially on the part of smart repair providers, damage assessors and other software companies.

MD Software & Design offers a software framework for mobile applications that has been specially designed for smartphones and tablet PCs. With these mobile devices, damage calculation and / or invoicing for vehicles can be carried out at any time, at any place. The ONLINE and OFFLINE functionality was of particular interest. If there is no network connection, data is synchronized as soon as the connection is available again. Standardized interfaces are used to synchronize data with the IT systems of the connected companies (e.g. financial or DMS systems).

The modular structure of the software was of particular interest to companies in the smart repair sector. Dynamic modules and building blocks can be used in new solutions. Depending on the requirements of the companies, missing parts are added. This creates an individual solution. For example, if a company has a proven financial accounting system, this can easily be linked to the order management system.

This modular system has also convinced other software providers. The combination of existing IT solutions is designed from the ground up and has already led to very successful collaborations.

Very efficient software solutions for damage and residual value calculation have also already been developed for companies in the field of damage assessment. In doing so, MD Software & Design designs and develops completely individual programs. A synchronization of the data with the integration of external data sources such as DAT or Schwacke has already been implemented.

By entering the chassis number, one receives the equipment details and other relevant data about the vehicle and after including the calculated damages, a reliable residual value can be determined.
